IF we change levels, we still need to do all the things that have been keeping us safe. This type of whakatauki is a whakaaraara pā – where people were called to attention to prepare for something happening. Today, we use it as a call to action – to call on us all to work together. *WE CAN DO THIS* by committing together to: Be vigilant. Stay safe. Keep doing what we’ve been doing since the rāhui started. It’s important to emphasise that nothing changes until we ACTUALLY move to level 3, and even then, MOST of what we’re doing stays the same.
